Aptitude
Candidates applying for the posts of Electrician, Mechanic, Machinist, and Fitter under this recruitment issued by Indian Railways are required to have 10 passes with 50% marks. It is also necessary to have an ITI certificate in the respective trade. Also, candidates applying for the post of welder are required to have a standard 8 pass and ITI pass in the welding trade.

Age limit
The age of the candidate for Indian Railways recruitment should be between 15 to 24 years. Selected candidates will get Rs. 7000 as stipend during the training. Also during training for 2 years candidates will be paid Rs. 7700 per month and for 3 years candidates will be paid Rs. 8050 per month.
