The sensitive government of Gujarat has decided to take care of the orphaned children who lost their parents during the Coronation period. The important announcement of “Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana” was made by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.

Children up to the age of 18 years and both parents who have died in Corona are entitled to Rs. 2000 assistance will be provided

✓ Adult child whose study is going on will be given a monthly stipend of Rs. 2000 assistance will be provided

✓ Children who have lost both parents will be given the benefit of CM Youth Self Reliance for higher education on priority basis without any income limit.

✓ Foreign study loan will also be given on priority basis without any income limit

✓ Admission to Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya for education of destitute girls who have lost both parents – Admission in residential schools priority – Hostel expenses

✓Children who have lost both their parents will get priority medical treatment under Mukhyamantri Amrutam-Maa card scheme.

✓Children up to the age of 18 years whose parents have both died during the Corona period are entitled to a monthly allowance of Rs. 5,000 will be provided by the state government under this Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana.

✓ Children who will continue their studies even after completing 18 years of age are covered in the After Care Scheme for 21 years without any income limit of Rs. The state government has decided to provide assistance of Rs 5,000.

✓ Even after completing 21 years, young men and women who are engaged in higher studies are entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000 will benefit.

✓ That is, all types of undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be considered valid for this scheme.

✓ Scholarships prescribed by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment to the children belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, NTDNT and Economically Backward Classes of the State and Tribal Development Department to the Resolutions, Circulars, Rules of that Department. Will be approved subject to.

The benefits of all the schemes of all the corporations owned by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Department of Tribal Development will have to be given to the eligible children without considering the income limit.

✓ Not only this, educational loan for study in the state as well as loan for study abroad will be given on priority basis irrespective of any income limit.

✓ Such orphans and destitute children will be covered under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) for higher education and its benefits will be given on priority basis without any income limit.

✓ Vocational training for children above 18 years of age and skill development training for children above 18 years of age will be given on priority basis at the government’s expense under this Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana.

✓ Daughters who have lost their parents will be given priority in admission in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, residential schools run by the Central / State Government for the education of destitute girls. Hostel expenses will also be provided.

✓ By including such destitute girls under Kunwarbai’s mameru scheme for marriage, the benefit of this scheme will also be available and the amount of mamera will be paid by the state government under the scheme.

Union Minister Smriti Irani said in a tweet that from April 1, 2021 to 2 pm on Tuesday, the parents of a total of 577 children from the state government and the Union Territories have died due to corona. They further said that these children are now safe under the district administration. If such children have any need for mental health, we have formed a team at the National Institute of Mental Health.

The state government has also announced Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana for children deprived of corona. In this scheme announced by Chief Minister Rupani today, monthly assistance of Rs 4,000 per child per month will be given to children deprived of corona till they reach the age of 18 years. In addition, if they have completed 18 years of age and their parents have died, the children under the After Care Scheme will be considered for them up to the age of 21 years and similarly from 21 years to 24 years. Rupees will be given monthly.

Children who have to go to study abroad will be exempted from any income limit. In the coming days, the children will also be given priority in the state government’s foreign loan scheme. In Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana, priority will be given to children who are pursuing higher studies in self-financed colleges. In which no income limit will be kept. The state government waives 50 per cent fee in such schemes. In addition, children will also benefit from the government’s MYSY scheme.
